Hi Paul, I use one and it works well under Windows 2000 Pro. But you have to load the card and then plug the FireWire cable into the port to read it. Then when finished you have to tell Windows you want to remove the reader so it can unmount the card reader. This is a bit of a pain but it works 100% right and is faster to read then the USB 2.0 CF card readers I used to use.
