The lenses where it says "FT-M" have Full-Time Manual focus. Of the
lenses you have mentioned only the 20/2.8 and 28/1.8 seem to have FT-M.
I don't have any wide angle primes but the 20-35 with which I am very
happy with.

Regarding the bodies you mentioned I only used the Elan II for a very
short time. What did astonish me most about the Elan II is the mirror
slap which is very quiet compared to my 1ns. It is also pretty light
compared to my 1ns while still giving you lots of control.
