The 24/2.8, 28/2.8 and 35/2 do not have FTM,
but the 20/2.8, 28/1.8 and all the Ls have it
(well the TS-E 24/3.5L has only manual focus).

Elan is closer to 10D in features, Rebels are lighter but lack
some features you may find important: back dial, ability to
move focus to * button (Custom Function 4), and ability to select
autofocus mode (single-shot vs. tracking) being the most important
(for me anyway).

I would go for Elan just because of CF4, but if you haven't used
it in the 10D you won't miss it in a Rebel either.
