The only fact you are "setting straight" is that you had a bad apple. That does not mean the entire orchard contains all bad apples or the harvester is a bad grower. All it means is Thys got a bad sample. Peter on the other hand has two good ones from the same orchard.
Guy in the next office where I once worked raved about his Sigma 400 mm. He kept telling me that they repaired if for free several times and even replaced it with a new one when it remained incompatible. Seems as though the replacement was sent back only once.
