Well I always figured if a lens sits unsold in a store, it's not so easy to sell it. Meanwhile how many Canon lenses have gone out the door while the Sigma sat on the shelf? I watch the Auctions here in Japan, they indicate lots of Canon lenses, not so many Sigma. And the Sigmas are harder to sell and fetch way less. Japanese photographers are rather fond of hardware, and Canon is the winner here. Lately though many new Sigmas have been spotted on amateur camera bodies. In the stores downtown which have oodles of used lenses, there are very very few Sigma lenses for sale. The stores don't have the space for things that won't sell for a long time and so are very discriminate in what they keep, and what they put on the shelves. So much so that anything that's not absolutely mint will not see a dealer's shelf. Of course there's plenty of mint used stuff to put on the shelf so they can pick and choose. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
