The reference to politics was similar to the apples/orchard example. It seems that you are a devoted supporter of Bush and most of all a "patriot". So you were offended. You should be getting used to it by now.
You know nothing of me or whom I support. Your supposition was as far off as your original comment was out of place and out of context. Irregardless of your or my political views, comments like yours and the petty arguments going on in other threads do not belong on this EOS equipment list. You seem to have failed to understand that not only once, but twice.

If the several months is any indication of what is in store for the future, the answer is getting clearer. I have been a member of this list for years, but lately the level of conversation has dropped considerably.

Anyway, you missed(or ignored) the point of my email which was a call to stop this thread. Let's hope we all get over it.
Your attempt to "call to stop this thread" was so veiled in your political sarcasm that it was unrecognizable as anything other than another chance for you to air your political views. Which, if you haven't gotten the message yet, doesn't belong on this list.
