I just picked up on auction here in Japan, a Tokina 28-70 f2.8 ATX Pro
lens like new, but used, for about $150 US. Just for fun really, I
want to see if it can replace my 50 and 85 and give me a between lens
from my 20-35 and my 100-400. I'll let you all know how it works out,
will not receive it for a couple of days.

Does anyone else on the list have one of these?
Nice close focusing, I was suprised how heavy it actually is,
considering they advertise it as a compact light weight lens. -
