Well, this is what I need from my camera: - 8.2 megapixel+ - 1.3x factor (gives a better quality than 1.6x because of the size of the sensor) - ECF (please, please, please!!!!) - Light weather sealing as per EOS-3 - Batteries as per EOS-1D - Fast AF system as per EOS-3 - Interchangeable focusing screens There's a huge price gap between the EOS-20D and the EOS-1D MarkII. I'm sure they can create something that fits in there. What I do not like about the EOS-20D: - Why a different grip from the 10D and D60??? Why different batteries? The BP-511 worked just fine, I never ran out of batteries on my D60! - No interchangeable focusing screens - Focusing speed is probably not a match to the EOS-3, but this is still TBD But it's me being used to my EOS-3 and really wanting something equivalent in digital. The EOS-20D is clearly not it... And the EOS-1D II is waaaaaaay too expensive for me...
