What I do not like about the EOS-20D: - Why a different grip from the 10D and D60??? Why different batteries? The BP-511 worked just fine, I never ran out of batteries on my D60!
Different grip because the 20D has a different size. The 20D is supposed to have longer battery life.
- No interchangeable focusing screens
This is not very surprising. I'm sure if you look at how many EOS SLRs there are with interchangeable focusing screens, and how many actually ever changed them, the percentage of changed screens is probably very low. For the market segment the 20D is trying to reach, interchangeable focusing screens make little sense.
- Focusing speed is probably not a match to the EOS-3, but this is still TBD
Yes, still TBD. That one will be interesting, considering all the criticism the 10D got in that department.
