I wouldn't hesitate to say sell 'em both. I held on to my 3 for a year and a half and just two or three months ago sold it on ebay. I kept it just in case I needed to go really big. I shot a calendar with the 1D & 3 on Provia 100F figuring if the 4MP image wouldn't go large enough surely the Provia would. That's when I realized I could get full bleed 11x17s out of the 4MP and even higher with the use of Genuine Fractals. The 3 sat in my closet collecting dust for over a year before I finally got rid of it. Now I gotta clean out the freezer and get rid of some film ...
