I did some tests with the 300D, filling up the buffer then seeing how long it took to empty. With either a 16x card or a 40x card it took about the same time. I calculated the time it took as approximately 12x150kB/s (In case anyone doesn't know the speed of CF cards is quoted in multiples of 150 kB/s). From what I've read the max write speed on the 10D is similar but the 1Ds and 1DII can benefit from much faster cards. -- Visit our website at www.roke.co.uk Roke Manor Research Ltd, Roke Manor, Romsey, Hampshire SO51 0ZN, UK.
