It's actually smaller than the 10D by 0.5mm : 22.5mm x 15mm

I dunno, they don't go to 3 significant digits in the crop sizes. So I don't know if the 10D was 1.58x and the 20D is 1.62x or if the 10D was 1.61x and the 20D is 1.63x.
In any case, the finder compensates and it's really a niggling detail.
