Does this mean it's wishlist time?  For the 1V Mark II <g>?

I'd agree that there's not much to improve in the 1V . . . unless you
start adding some digital features.

First and foremost, let me shoot film, but give me a histogram.  For
that matter, let me JUST grab a histogram without exposing the film if I
want to.  I'd hope the sensor size needed to do that is small enough to
make this doable.  

Next (but less technically likely) capture some low res jpeg index shots
while we're at it. Number them to match the film frame.
