I can't recall exactly when they officially pulled it, but it was about 3yr.s ago when I read an article stating it was discontinued. I think that the demand for it just did not justify its production, and that many felt that its performance did not justify its cost. Few people that owned it used it much for the comments were that the depth of field was so shallow that is was very unusable at f1.0
