Have you looked up any of these guys on www.resellerratings.com or the photo.net Dealer ratings? If they're from Brooklyn (area code 718), don't waste your time. The others are pretty much ok. B&H, Adorama (which is most of what Amazon offers), Ritz, Roberts Imaging, Cameta Camera, Samy's, Norman Camera, Competitive Camera all come to mind as reputable mail order dealers. KEH, too, if they carry the camera new. Only the Brooklyn dealers are going to open the box and take stuff out.
