I agree there's no reason to spend the money for the Canon tube, it's not an
optical device. But if you really want a 25mm tube (which I did, too), the
sets aren't much help because they have 12mm, 20mm and 36mm tubes. Kenko
does make a 25mm tube which is sold separately. I have it and it works fine,
although now that I've got a good bellows setup and a 180mm macro, I don't
use it very often.
