I just bought a new Canon i9900 printer, went to set it up, and the
printer head carriage will not budge, will NOT move over to the center
to load the printhead and inks. Grrrrrrrrrrrr...... I called Canon,
and to their credit, they are shipping me a new one that should be here
Friday. It is the FIRST thing I have ever bought with the Canon name on
it that has not worked correctly. I even held the phone up to the
printer while it was turned on so he could hear the weird noises it was
making. He immediately said it was defective and was going to give me a
service center address. I said NO, I wanted a new one. I did not pay
500 bucks to have to take it to some service center. But he was very
nice and said he will get a new one right to me. Oh well, nothing is
perfect, not even a Canon!

PS... yeah, ALL the factory tape was pulled off of everything before
trying to start it up! lol
