Mr. Bill .. I've never received one but I don't know that we can compare a giveaway marketing tool to a piece of equipment we have chosen to buy only to be price gouged on supplies further down the line. But, I'll agree. They all found out where the money was and boy are they cashing in on it. It much the same with different products. We have an Indigo digital press at work. 1 can of ink is $56. Granted, it's probably 32 oz. or more but it's certain not $56 worth of ink. Blankets for it are $430. It's a piece of coated rubber ... worth $430? Puuuuuleeeeeease! The bottom line is these companies are in it to make money and they know we'll pay it. Just like gas prices ... they rise because they can.
