<By the way, what's the consensus, do you shut your digital SLR's off when you changes lenses? I certainly never shut off my film cameras to do it.>
I always turn the camera off when changing lenses. The reason given to me for doing this is that while the camera is on the sensor is charged (and attracts dust).....and when the camera is off, it is discharged and won't attract dust. There may be other reasons?
