I'm becoming more convinced that this notion of full-frame is becoming just a sentimentality.

I think that the APS size sensor future has no doubt. At least up to the the moment when bigger sensor - full frame or other sizes-are economically feasible. May be this is not going to happen never...But I don't find *any* kind of sentimentality when I have a look to my pictures - under technical point of view not artistic-coming from my 1Ds and- in few days- the 1Ds MKII. The are in fact superior images as per my experience and I have handed a lot of DSRLs of all kind of sensor sizes.
