Just two months ago I salivated at the GR-21 at a camera shop window...
it's still available in places although no longer manufactured.

And to pick a nit, it is not really a version of the 24/30mm one (R1),
the GR series (the other one being 28mm GR-1, with only slightly
different -s and -v versions) is of different (better, and more
expensive) build than the R series.

I would love to see a *good* wide-angle digital P&S, too.
All I've tried feel like toys compared to those Ricoh's for
example, even though they aren't any real pro stuff either.
