Hey everyone:

I'm looking for the best bang for the buck flash bracket to use with my 20D
(no battery pack) and 380EX with OCS2. I have no plans to buy the battery
pack, and only possibly a 550/580EX in the distant future.

I want something to help me shoot weddings so I would mainly be using it
horizontally, but I would like a bracket that puts the flash almost directly
over the lens in a vertical composition as well.

I've been looking at:

Stratos 835
Stroboframe Quick Flip 350
Flash Frame FlashFlip
Stroboframe Camera Flip

I really haven't considered the Stroboframe Pro-T or Press-T... does anyone
want to give their input on how these compare to the cheaper models I'm
looking at?

In general, I just want something that isn't going to flop around, is
adjustable enough to suit me, maintains proper orientation for full flash
coverage, and has a tripod thread on the bottom.

I followed the wedding photography tip and the flash head configuration
threads.

Thanks for any opinions, ideas, and reputable retail locations (I normally
buy from B&H).

Brian
