I apologize for this off topic subject but I am relying on the advice of our
well traveled photographers on the list.
I am going to France for a vacation trip. I would like to shoot some night
scenes in Paris along the Seine and so on. I am thinking of bringing a
tripod along. So here is the question: would I put that inside the luggage
or strap it on the camera backpack (I have a Lowepro Raven? Which is
preferred from air port check in perspective?
Thanks,
Francis
I haven't travelled with a tripod, but I have seen travelers with skis
and golf bags. So, I wonder if you could get a good tripod bag and
check it in. It would limit the rest of your checked baggage but you
would have the tripod.
