Hi I ordered a 20D last week, but had something "interesting" occur recently.
A couple of days ago a client purchased a high-res scan of a photo that I took last year (to be used for a very large poster). With film, the end use doesn't affect the phototaking process very much. With digital, the potential end use appears to be greatly affected by the photo taking process.
If the photo had been taken as a Large/Fine jpg, how large a print can be made before it starts to look "grainy"?
I understand that shooting RAW gives you more control over the final print, but does it also affect maximum print size?
Should I shoot everything in RAW+JPG, just in case someone wants a huge print years later?
