Dear Cotty, Mick and the group,

Thanks for your replies ! After receiving your answers I gained back hope
and tried http://www.mediarecover.com first. Unfortunately this software
could not solve my problem. Bummer !! Fingers crossed, I downloaded the
software from http://www.lc-tech.com and this did the magic thing. So
quickly I paid the $39,95 and now I have all my images back (plus a memory
card which I can use again).

Thanks for your gelp guys ! This is the perfect example of the use of this
mailinglist. Where would I have been without it !?!

Smiling greetings from Holland,

Iwan Bogels

Subject: Oops, I formatted a full SD-card with my EOS-1D mark II

Hi all,

One of the first days that I owned my new EOS-1D mark II I made the mistake
of formatting a full SD-card with what should have been some exciting shots.
Since then I have kept the card out of my camera hoping for a solution, but
unfortunately the rescue software that came with the Lexar disc didn't do
the job. Did I do anything wrong (except for formatting the wrong card in
the first place - smile) or does anyone have any other suggestions ?

Would love to hear if anyone has encountered the same problem and managed to
retreive the images.

Hopefull greetings,

Iwan Bogels
