For anything coming off the current crop of inkjet printers at 11X14, I would say no difference at all. Why not go to <http://www.dpreview.com/> and find the reviews of both cameras where there are hi res samples supplied. Download some and print them off. Without actually handling the cameras, it's the next best thing. The 1DmkII represents good value for money right now IMO, although unless you own some good ultra-wides, it may not be suitable. There's a lot of opinion that the next incarnation of the 1D will be single-strand. That is, full-frame sensor with ~8fps and fast buffering, so back to one model.
