Hi guys! Plenty of comparisons or opinions of EOS 5D vs. EOS 1Ds Mark II, but what about 5D vs. second hand 1Ds? Any links?
My opinion is that image quality is about the same. Of course 5D has slight edge, but compared to cameras in 2 years, these will seem like quite identical. Otherwise 1Ds is more robust, but 5D is smaller and doesn't shout "Pro". 5D is easier to use in some situations and 1Ds is better in some other (at least that's what I'm basing on using EOS 50e and EOS 3).
