Hello, Finally, I´m thinking of switching to digital. The 5D is really interesting, because it got a full frame sensor. But as an EOS 1V user, I really would miss all the AF sensors. And the speed of course.
The 20D is not really an alternative, as it got the 1.6 crop factor. And the 1Ds Mark II is far too expensive. So, I thought about buying an used EOS 1D Mark II. I saw several bodies for quite a good price. But I wonder if the 8 mp would be good enough for a double spread in a magazine? I work as a freelancer for several magazines. Although I like to shoot with my 16-35L, I think I could live with the 1.3 crop factor. I would really appreciate your help/comments/input.
