That's actually an interesting point. I know the guys at Applied
Science Fiction (the Digital ICE guys). Do you know how they got all
the scratched and faded negs and slides to test their algorithms? They
bought them on eBay from people selling off large collections of photos.
I wonder how many families photos get disposed of by someone who just
doesn't know what they are.
