Obviously you're a hiker! I always have several zip lock bags, a sheet of foil, some toothpicks and clay and a bit of wire, stored in a large one in the bottom of my bag. In another small zipper bag I have sunscreen and a couple of bandaids, a Leatherman Micra, rubber bands, 6ft of twine, a small pad and two pens, and a flat LED flashlight with two extra lithium batteries.
