Probably doesn't exist, 'cause most people just use the factory charger
which plugs right into the battery.

It could be a temperature sensor or other types of sensor.

You are kidding, right?  Why would somebody crack open their perfectly good
battery pack for you?  Besides the packs seem to be solvent welded together
and not just screwed together, so if you want to see one cracked open than
you'll have to wait until someone's battery pack dies, or get one yourself
to crack it open.
