Wondering if listmembers have found special treatment necessary
when using a circular polarizer on a D-SLR. I have an Omega CP,
admittedly not the B+H or Heliopan, but as always worked acceptably
well with film. Shot a bunch with it on the coast the other day,
and results look a bit strange - kind of flat with a greyish-purple
tinge. Do you need to treat shooting with a CP as a custom WB
situation? Any ideas welcome.
I've been using the Tiffen Wide Angle CP that I used on my EOS-3 on
my 20D with no change in performance that I can see. I use it on my
17-40 f/4 and my 28-135 IS.
