Subject: EOS CP on DSLR
Wondering if listmembers have found special treatment necessary when using
a circular polarizer on a D-SLR. I have an Omega CP, admittedly not the
B+H or Heliopan, but as always worked acceptably well with film. Shot a
bunch with it on the coast the other day, and results look a bit strange -
kind of flat with a greyish-purple tinge. Do you need to treat shooting
with a CP as a custom WB situation? Any ideas welcome.

We have a Hoya and a Tiffen CP, and we've never experienced an unexpected
color shift with our 20Ds or 5Ds. What lens(es)/camera are you using it on?
The only suggestion I'd have to make is the obvious one, try (rent or
borrow) another brand and compare images.
I've never heard of Omega, are they associated with the enlarger mfr?
