5D also. I have the 24-105, and I find 24 just not quite wide enough sometimes. In my OM days, I had a 21/2 that traveled with me a lot. I am surprised that I bump into 24mm limit as much as I do, hence the question. I just didn't see anything in the Canon wide lineup that looked any better than the 16-35 (from a size weight point of view). I will probably go with that lens, as I do need something wider.
