My 5D arrived yesterday and today it has assumed its rightful place in my camera bag, but to make room I am now without my beloved 620 in the bag for the first time in nearly nineteen years. The 620 was a great camera. Even with my EOS 3, I still shot a lot with the 620 and it never let me down. Somehow, I doubt that I will be shooting with the 5d a quarter of the time the 620 was with me.
On another note... Question: has anyone on this list done a comparison of the 24-105mm f/4L with the 17-40mm f/4L? I am curious as to how they perform at their common focal lengths. I would assume the 17-40mm f/4L would perform better, but I am curious about any real world comparisons.
