Thanks for the link. I read that comparison a while back when I was planning my jump to digital. It is one of the reasons that I am considering adding the 17-40 to my kit. I obviously haven't been able to spend a lot of time with the 5D yet, but I do like the form factor. It handles well. Even though I spent some time with it in a few shops, I was still surprised that it is slightly bigger (and heavier, although that wasn't much of surprise) than the 3. When you combine it with the battery grip, it looks even more impressive. I love the size of the LCD screen compared to the 20D that I had been borrowing.
