Well, I like sharp, darn it. . At least as sharp as my EF 50/1.8. I
wish someone would make a nice set of fast wide primes for 1.6x
cameras so I could have the choice of the equivalent of my standard
24/28/35 set, and stop agonizing over which compromised zoom is best.
Actually, maybe I just wish I had more money. I'm working on that. :-\

It's a sharp lens, but not as sharp as the 70-200mm F2.8 IS L lens.
This could be the particular one we tested. There can be some variance
between lenses, maybe he just got one that is not as sharp as others.
