Hey ..... I do appreciate all the responses to my question about
printing a RAW image. Since then, I have learned a bit about Capture
One LE (which I will probably buy) and I have converted RAWs to JPEGs
and Tiff files (huge) within Capture One, imported into iPhoto and
printed, with varying results (related to photo person, not camera or
app., but they did print). I have also upgraded PS Elements 2 (which
couldn't open RAW files) to 4 which does open RAW files. There seem to
be more or better? options in CO LE than PSE 4. And I have explored DPP
but I like the interfaces better of CO LE, PSE 4 and iPhoto (on a Mac).
JPEG vs. RAW - I think I agree with Cotty - not a lot of difference
once printed. But maybe I just don't know what I'm doing?

I will however continue to play around and explore RAW and the
software, and have fun with the camera (20D). Yu ever notice how easy
it is to spend money!
