Hello
Is there a way to shoot RAW in the PIC-Mode with a 350D? My wife likes
the PIC-Modes because it is all automatic but you only get JPEG-Files. I
like to have also RAW-Files like in AV or TV. Is there a way to change
the firmware?

In a word, no.
As an alternate, try setting up the camera similarly in the P mode.
There you have the option for RAW + jpeg capture, and can configure
it similarly to a specific pic mode.
