I recently bought a used Tamron 1.4X TC to be used with my XT + 70-200 f4 and I found that I could not achieve AF lock. I thought that I got what I paid for by buying used items. Then I tested it with the same lens and my Elan IIe and it works fine, even in very low light condition. Has anyone encounter this? Do I have a bad TC or it is something peculiar with my camera? I need to test it with my neighbor's 20D to confirm...
