Unfortunately, digital EOS bodies here have a Japan only warranty. Not
to mention they're more expensive than in the States. Plus, the manual
etc will all be in Japanese.

I think you can get a US model at the Akihabara Duty Free shops, but
the cost is even more.

I have found BIC Camera to be the best place to buy in Japan.

I guess you meant Tokyo.

I live in Japan so I know this stuff ;-)
