Well, I got tired of the high prices and crowds of people there. Just
west under the bridge there's a great market, much better than looking
at electronics.

Another thing I forgot to mention - you'll have to pay cash in Japan
or pay extra 5% with a credit card.

And, the only good thing is the points card you get which is good for
5% on your next purchase. BIC is the only one which would let me buy
something else using it that same day. Which is why I bought my 10d
there.

BTW, I ordered my 100-400L IS from Adorama and still saved after tax
and shipping. So don't expect any deals on lenses.

There's lots of real mint used lenses here in Japan though, but they
go for 80% or more of new price. I didn't really want a used IS lens
either...
