Subject: EOS sharpness and sharpening

Not sure if I asked this before but I was wondering if
you guys are sharpening your pics in camera. My 1ds
pics seem to require sharpening in a way that the
older eos pics shot with the old dcs520/60 did not. I
had never needed to sharpen anything in-camera before.
and I started with the 1ds sharpness set all to the
default neutral neutral. I don't think it's a camera
or lens issue since it happens at all apertures with
different lenses.

No, I'm doing my sharpening in post. The 1 series, and the 5D that I have, have weaker AA filters, images look softer, since there's less in camera sharpening taking place. Doing it in post leaves me with more control.
