Probably not in a lot of situations, but this conversation has turned into a lose-lose conversation, where everyone who has contributed thinks he/she is the correct side of the debate. There will be no end to this, and so I think the prudent action is to just walk away. Let it go. Life is too short to keep up the endless debate, and it will only end with hurt feelings on both sides. This is too great a group of talented and funny individuals to let this go on. My suggestion? Make peace and let it go. That's all I was trying to say, but should have said the words more precisely. in posting about this conversation, my hope was to lighten it up a bit, and add a little humor to the situation. It was getting far too serious and hurtful. THAT is not a good thing. If it were me in this thing now? I'd end it. Do what you will as far as posting is concerned, and allow others to do as they choose also. We were all doing nothing more than expressing opinions at the start of this, nothing more.
