i did a trip to Everglades a year ago with a friend. I, with my 70-200L 2.8 (with the 2x attached), and Bill with his 400 2.8, with the 1.4 attached.... and everybody wanted to talk, and everybody wanted to "look through the viewfinder" and it was really annoying, especially stalking some of the more elusive birds. But we've done so many trips together like that, that we've just gotten used to it. We don't like it much, but without stealth technology, there isn't much we can do. Also, on my last trip to Carlsbad Caverns, armed with a lot of glass and a lot of flash (!), I was amazed at the number of people wandering around taking cellphone pictures.... um, I wonder how they turned out!! :-) Bill, this zebra shot is stunning! Excellent work! I think I'd better add the 600 to my list. jane ____________________________________________________________________________________ We won't tell.
