I know this is a few weeks old but because of a recent purchase I
thought I'd write anyway......
When Gerry first posted this I was of the opinion that if you wait for
the next version you'll never get anything.
I recentley bought my wife a Canon A570IS P&S. After reading the specs
and teasing her that I NEED a 30D to keep up with her I looked at the
30D again.
Now I think that if gerry is satisfied with his 10D and the experation
on his gift certificate is far enough away, maybe he should wait.
One reason is that the 30D has the Digic II chip in it. The 570 has the
Digic III. So the next version of the 30D will most likely have the
Digic III.. I don't know what other "improvements" there will be.
