Dear EPEL team,

Thank you for your clarification. I now understand that
already-existing packages in Fedora require the branching process and
should not be used for sponsorship requests.

Regarding the concerns raised about my intentions, I would like to
state clearly that I have no interest in social engineering or
manipulation. My only goal is to contribute practical,
production-relevant packages to the EPEL ecosystem, especially for use
cases in Japan.

Due to technical constraints, developers located in Japan currently
face persistent SSH connectivity failures to `src.fedoraproject.org`.
HTTPS push also requires tokens that are only available to members of
the packager group. As a result, for contributors in my situation,
submitting SPEC/SRPMs and contributions through Bugzilla is
effectively the only available path.

I have recently submitted several new packages to EPEL10 that do not
currently exist in the repository:

- `lbzip2` (Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2372800)
- `smbldap-tools` (Bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2372942)
- `xosview` (Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2372805)
- `amanda` (Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2372857)
- `ntfs-3g` (Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2372674)
- `perl-Crypt-SmbHash` [GitHub:
https://github.com/redadmin-k/perl-Crypt-SmbHash-almalinux9-rpm]
- `rsh` [GitHub: https://github.com/redadmin-k/rsh-almalinux10-rpm]
- `finger` [GitHub: https://github.com/redadmin-k/finger-almalinux10-rpm]

These contributions are focused on packages missing from EPEL10 that
are needed in real-world deployments, and I intend to maintain them
long-term.

If any sponsor is willing to support my efforts based on these current
activities, I would be very grateful.

Sincerely,
Akiyoshi Kurita (FAS: redadmin)
