If you do, then you are so completely out of touch with contemporary
American culture that it is futile to attempt to communicate with you.

On an almost daily basis the news (which is mostly left-biased itself)
reports stories about the politicization of government-run school
curricula.

(Here, we call government-run schools, public schools, which I
understand is the opposite in Britain.)

Essential studies have been diminished in favor of so-called "tree-
hugging" curricula.
Which is why the US continues to falter in comparative student
knowledge of math and science.
A recent scandal was that elementary school students were secretly
video-taped in teacher-led chants of
"mmm-mmm-mmm Barak Hussein Obama"

see one such video at
http://fr.sevenload.com/videos/7yvebuv-School-kids-taught-to-praise-Obama

When the videos went viral, the school's only complaint was that the
video was unauthorized!

A more recent case, five American high school students were sent home
from school
for wearing American flag clothing on a day celebrated by Mexican
students. (Cinco de Mayo)
They were told the display of US flags was disrespectful to the
Mexicans.
PS: No Mexican students are EVER sent home for wearing Mexican flag
clothing--- on any day.

In the US. we have no shortage of exposure to left-wing opinion. It
is everywhere.
Whatever else you may think, we are not unaware of socialist
arguments.
I suspect that in the UK, you do not have the exposure to conservative
thinking on
the same level as we do of liberal thinking.
So naturally, you seem unable or unwilling to accept facts that do not
fit your bias.
