Funny you should ask, that subject was brought up on another email list
recently.  One of the paid technical advisors in the type club of my other
airplane came from the aviation insurance industry.  In his years of
experience, he has never seen a claim denied by an insurance agency based
on
bad paperwork or related matters.  His reasoning was that if it did
happen,
the firestorm of bad press that would quickly follow would put the carrier
out of business.  What really gets you are the actions taken by the feds
and
the civil courts.
