Couper radio experts, When I bought my coupe
last fall it had no radio installed,but I was handed a Narco Escort 11 that
the previous owner had intended to install, but decided to sell me the plane
since he had two coupes. He bought the radio from a friend who said it had
been bench checked ok. I installed the radio with the harness that came with it.
The radio received ok, but when I tried to transmit all a got was a 't' sign
with no voice transmitted. I'm using a panel mounted phone jacks. I have checked
the pin out of the wiring harness and it's ok. Since the prior radio was a
Escort 110, I suspect the wiring an receptacle in the plane may be the problem.
I know this radio is an older Nav-com, But it is a 720 legal radio and if it
works ok after finding the problem it should serve my needs. Any thoughts or
